You must be 18 years or older to use Dropt. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement. We may suspend or terminate any account where this is not met.
How Dropt Works
Dropt is a platform for paid entry competitions. Creators list drops with a prize and an entry fee. Fans pay the entry fee for a chance to win the prize. Winners are selected randomly using a provably fair SHA-256 commit-reveal system — the outcome is determined before entries open and can be independently verified by anyone.
Entry Fees
Entry fees are charged to your Dropt wallet balance at the time of entry. Fees are non-refundable once the draw has been completed. If a drop is cancelled before the draw, entry fees are returned to your balance.
Prize Payouts
Prize winnings are credited directly to your Dropt wallet balance. You can withdraw your balance to a bank account at any time. Withdrawal processing times may vary.
Platform Fee
Creators are charged a 5% platform fee based on the prize amount. This fee is deducted at the time the drop is created. Entry fees collected from participants are returned to the creator in full.
Fair Draw
Every draw uses a commit-reveal scheme. Before entries open, a secret seed is generated and its SHA-256 hash is published. After the draw closes, the seed is revealed. Anyone can verify that SHA-256(seed) equals the published hash, confirming the outcome was not manipulated.
Prohibited
The following are strictly prohibited: use by anyone under 18, creating fraudulent drops or entries, manipulating the platform in any way, and any activity that violates applicable law. Violations will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of any balance.
